Yes it sucks that you sometimes have to make a decision where you make a fleet composition with little AP capability that you know will lose to necrons but will do well against other factions but the only way to fix that would be to show opponent faction before you pick a fleet but that would create other issues. If you don't then it's probably their win. If you have a way to bypass it they're easy to beat. The only thing necrons can rely on to win is their armor. You shouldn't have any problems with necrons with lance build since they're armor piercing. Armada 1 is much richer in everything that has depth to it: tactics, ship upgrades, story etc. Armada 2 is the best when using Battlecruiser and above while in Armada 1 most things are useful (except things like Murder). Chaos is lance heavy and it is like being swarm of annoying mosquitos.Īnd is rather bad that one must have very specific build to be able to compete. A series of sub guides organized within this index, which cover advanced and detailed ship stats such as total average DPS, average number of critical hits per minute, dealt with available weaponry and advanced ship strategies and information. Armada 1 is like Kill Team, only with ships while Armada 2 is like your typical Tabletop. Chaos - They are long range, which is a strenght and a weakness of its own. Weakness is that they aren't exceptional in any of these areas like some others might be. Devs kinda messed up witht he unlocks since you have people talking about stuff like this here in balance discussions. Imperial navy - Strength is the fact that they are all rounder, you have a lot of choice in how you approach something. You should have AP ammo which lets you completely annihilate Necrons.
